Board Meeting 10/9/06

Meeting started @ 7:40 PM

Stro put forth brochures for RASON to be approved. Minor changes to be made and approximately 100 copies to be made and distributed.

Stro suggested that instead of October breakfast, we have a cookout at Tarrallton Park. Approved to be held on Saturday the 21st from Noon until 4:00PM. Lisa to bring marinated chicken…

Christmas dinner/meeting was discussed. To be held on January 13 at Surfrider on Diamond Springs.  Lisa asked if  there were door prizes to be awarded. Lack of current funds mentioned.

Lisa suggested that member birthdays be mentioned and recognized at meetings and via card signed by club board.  Birthday can be added to club application.

Lisa put forth the club doing a fundraiser with VALUE CHECKS. She will follow thru at meeting with more information.

Don and Stro to go to bank and add 2nd signature onto bank account. This protects account and users.

On Sundays at 9pm there is an Echo Link net on the Red Cross net.

Paul offered to teach code on 146.46 simplex.

A “Board Check In” was held for nightly net.
