MEETING CALLED TO ORDER by Matt (KB1LCS) @ 19:30

NEW BUSINESS

    1. Matt suggested we put ALL area monthly meetings on our website calendar all agreed and passed relative info for Stro to update website calendar.
    2. Set up program meeting schedule tentatively for the whole year
      1. January-Dinner meeting
      2. February-K0IBS NTS class
      3. March- Ken(new ham)KI4MZA weather balloon project
      4. April-   APRS demo(KI4KWR) and start Field Day preparations
      5. May-    Nominations for office and Antenna building program(KO4FR)
      6. June-    Finalize nominations and Field Day
      7. July-     Voting and Field Day Critique
      8. August- COOKOUT and change meeting to a SAT.
      9. September- KG4IIF table top drill
      10. October- critique table top with KG4IIF
      11. November- MacArthur Center to set up a message board for holidays and traffic passing training possibly change meeting to weekend before Thanksgiving
      12. December- NO PROGRAM short and sweet
    3. Decided on a Simplex net on 147.375(until new repeater is up and running) we will make a new net script for the simplex monthly net
    4. Stro made phone calls to people who have filled out applications but have not paid their dues, no response as of yet
      1. N2NMH Rich suggested certified letter of intent to collect a debt.
      2. Unanimous NO, we will wait to see if Stro gets any response from a second round of calls and go from there Letter of Intent seemed too cold and impersonal we want to maintain the personal “family” feeling our club has.
    5. We will task Paul KF4QPR to find out what it will take to have our own VE sessions
      1. Suggestion that PARC and RASON do classes together KB1LCS will contact Carl Clements W4CAC
    6. Need to focus on club call Lynnette KB1LGB will see what it takes to get a club call.
    7. Harborfest 2nd weekend in June we would like a table along with possibly volunteering for the event. More equipment is needed
    8. PIO is needed to get the word of RASON out KO4FR suggested David McGuire AE4LH we will see if he is up for it.
    9. RASON Goals for 2006
      1. 501-C3 not for profit to be filled out
      2. code of conduct to be implemented
      3. website possibly joining web ring
      4. community outreach program
      5. fundraising
